Astronomy Centre - San Tomaso Agordino

At 15 km from Falcade, in San Tomaso Agordino.

The Centre can be visited provided you book in advance. There is an Observatory, with a sliding roof and a 450 mm diameter telescope, as weel as a Planetarium: a light projection system makes it possible to represent on a hemispheric dome the main elements of the celestial sphere, the movement of the stars, the appearance of the starry sky in different periods and some astronomical phenomena.

Museo della Grande Guerra - Marmolada

The museum is the highest in Europe and is placed at 2950mt. in the cableway station of Serauta on the edge of the glacier. 

Through the big windows of the Museum you can observe the war-stationings and the connecting passages that offer in the summer period opportunities for interesting and panoramic trips.

The museum can be visited in the period during which the cableway[E1] .  The entrance is free.
